The Shock That Broke the Corner

I decided to make my first post about an event that I believe was a sign I needed to begin my blog.
As I exited my car with my computer bag on my shoulder, somehow one end of the strap unhinged (possibly from the movement of the vehicle on harsh roads) and then one side of the bag fell on the concrete ground. I carried the bag in both arms into the house and into my room, where I took the laptop out of the bag to inspect the damage.
As you can see in the picture, there was definitely outer damage. I switched on the laptop power, however, and after testing the keyboard and screen and even the DVD drive, everything was found to be working fine. And thankfully so, since I only purchased the laptop two months ago.
I would say that I can relate to what happened to my laptop; I was damaged on the outside after I was neglected by my company. But on the inside, I was still functional and much happier than what I used to be. My strength and hunger for knowledge, as well as intense gratitude for what I earned in my life so far, kept me from breaking.
I am proud to be alive and well in this vast world filled with knowledge and experience, and I encourage you my dear reader (as cliché as this sounds) to be proud as well. Keep your life as limitless as you want it to be and never hold back on your goals. My goal as a blogger starts now.
